Another thing to try is pull all the plugs out of the junction block. Age heat or moisture can cause shorting and corrosion on the tail light circuit board and you may notice bulbs not working or coming on when they shouldn t. Iff all works at that point then plug the main back in and start testing at the left and right plug ins on the junction block. The only tools you ll need are a 13mm wrench screwdrivers and some penetrating oil.

Start testing direct at the incoming harness with a test light and verify all your signals and lights are working to that point.
